8. By Malene Birger (here)This season is, in fact, the most colorful coat season I’ve seen in the past few years. It seems like those of us who gravitate toward black, white or gray in every aspect of our wardrobe lives as we know it, are now taking colorful risks. These are some of my favorite coats for this season. Most of these styles are on the more expensive side, but that’s a norm for a heavy-duty coat, that will successfully take you though the entire fall/winter season. I am currently debating between both pink coats here in this post. Still not sure which one I am going to make my own? Decisions. Decisions.

The always “Epic” combination of a; Breton style sweater, light denim cutoff shorts, studded boots, moto jacket, oh and a leather baseball cap.
UNIVERSAL DRESSING
I categorize this idea, of a t-shirt, blazer, skinnies and pumps, as the universal casual code of dressing.
NEON COLOR SPLASH
You are probably thinking to yourself, “these photos were photo shopped X 10”. False. I wanted to make sure everyone realized how bright this Line & Dot cardigan jacket really was, so I shot this look next to a bright white wall.

This past weekend I finally made it out to explore Scottsdale Arizona. I was in my very first wedding as a bridesmaid to one of my oldest girlfriends. The weekend was a blur of bridesmaid festivities and events, however I did manage to plan 2 different slots of time to shoot, this being the first set of photos. My boyfriend and I came across this adorable café, Isabella’s, that had a beach bar feel, with almost all the seating being located outdoors overlooking a golf course. We loved it so much we shot there, and ate there twice during our 3 day stay.
Distinct Details
It’s very rare that I gravitate toward pairing and wearing a combination of all new (to my wardrobe) pieces together at one time. It’s even more rare that every single piece in this outfit is very distinct and special.
