Lately, there’s nothing I love more than a pair of bright, mirrored lenses with intense color.
My very patriotic outfit, from yesterday.
The hunt is finally over for the perfect pair of denim overalls. I’ve been coveting the idea of baggy denim overalls that take me back to childhood in the 90’s, all year long.
All denim, is slowly becoming my new default. Who wouldn’t want to drape themselves in all denim?
I most definitely will not stop wearing this jacket. It’s getting to the point where I might need to get a backup, ready on hand, in emergency of this one failing me.
It’s incredibly ironic that I have a closet full of clothes and 3 of my favorite pieces belong to my boyfriend. Go figure all 3 of them are button down shirts. All three are my go-to button downs, and even more ironically, he purchased each one at Wasteland (vintage re-sale store). What’s the deal with girls stealing their boyfriend’s flannel/denim/white button downs?
It’s coincidence that my entire outfit ended up taking me back to some part of my childhood, growing up in the nineties. Originally I was more than enthusiastic about bringing back the “fanny pack”, something I hold dear to my nineties heart.
Confusion set in last week when this light crepe-like jacket appeared in front of my eyes. I try to make a weekly trip to Zara and leave with one lustful piece. I usually know right away when I have a deep connection with a garment or accessory.
I have to admit, after seeing numerous photos of jagged edge DIY denim cut to a cropped calf length, I was curious. Since I often purge my closet of once loved clothing almost every single month, I didn’t have a pair of jeans to sacrifice to my scissors and crop.
I planned to shoot this look last weekend on Melrose, but sometimes, plans change. I found myself at a new friends house in the middle of nowhere. Well, actually it was right off the highway, but it felt like we were in the middle on nowhere, in a good way.
