When it’s too hot to think, or wear much clothing, I like to revert back to my favorite basic tanks and a pair of vintage Levis cutoff shorts.
Finally, an anorak style army jacket that suits me perfectly.
Showing just how different you can portray yourself
Sometimes a plaid flannel and baggy Levis can be the perfect match made in heaven.
Although I would love to wear five inch black pumps, a white tee and a leather moto jacket, that combination isn’t realistic to my life in California.
Realistically, I can’t put on fancy pumps and wear dresses and skirts every day in my life. Sometimes a vintage band t-shirt and printed jeans are my fall-back choice, when I have a busy schedule.
Lately, there’s nothing I love more than a pair of bright, mirrored lenses with intense color.
I categorize this idea, of a t-shirt, blazer, skinnies and pumps, as the universal casual code of dressing.
I most definitely will not stop wearing this jacket. It’s getting to the point where I might need to get a backup, ready on hand, in emergency of this one failing me.
There are certain things in life, I feel have so many layers that have to be peeled back before getting to know the real thing or person.
